Pad Man movie review

Hi guys,
Recently when I travelled from Australia to India, I got to watch this wonderful movie Padman.
I am from Tamilnadu and I know the story of original Padman, Arunachalam Muruganantham which was brilliantly adapted into big screen with Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte, Sonam Kapoor and others.
We know its the story of a man venturing to make cheap sanitary pads since he saw his wife using a dirty rag cloth during the menstrual time, which leads him to the struggle of manufacturing a machine making cheap sanitary pads which earned him worldwide fame and awards from Indian President.
What all struggles were faced by the poor man even losing his family members move away from him and entire village see him as a cheap guy are shown with a beautiful match.
Wonderful direction by R.Balki and brilliant performances by all the actors.
Well done team and the movie was very motivating!!

India vs SriLanka ICC World Cup

Hi guys,
India just thrashed Srilanka today in the final league match of ICC World Cup 2019.
Srilanka batted first and scored 264, a brilliant comeback from loss of initial quick 4 wickets loss.
Well done Team India where we saw 2 brilliant tons from Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.
Kudos to our team!!!!
Waiting to watch the semi finals next week.
Let's see who gets to the finals to be played on 14th July 2019.

NGK movie review

Hi guys,
I watched NGK movie yesterday in Amazon Prime as the movie got uploaded in just 35 days since its release.
We already know the movie didn't become a Box Office Hit and one of the flop movies of Suriya.
In fact it is said as the biggest flop of Suriya so far.
It has a very strong cast with Suriya, Sai Pallavi as leads and Rakul Preet Singh as one of another important characters supported by Bala Singh,Ilavarasu, Nizhalgal Ravi, Uma Padmanabhan.
And Selvaraghavan has indeed has extracted good performances from almost everyone.
But the movie didn't match as equal to his earlier cult movies like Pudhupettai, Kadhal Konden,7G Rainbow Colony.
This became a half baked politics story where nothing was gripping and taking us involved into the movie. Suriya comes as a Organic Farming person suddenly venturing into politics as a normal guy ending up as Chief Minister of the State, which is so funny and unacceptable. We couldn't follow fully why the government is against Suriya and tries to kill him. We should appreciate Selva for mocking few of current scenario in Tamilnadu government.
The movie has very bad songs and weak dialogues and infact so difficult to watch the movie till its end.Yuvan's music also couldn't save the movie which is another minus.
This is a disappointing comeback movie for Selva after 6 years from Irandam Ulagam , where 2 of his other movies Mannavan Vanthanadi and Nenjam Marappathillai didn't get released so far.
We know Selva does good research and study before making a movie, that's the reason why we could enjoy so many of his movies.
Irandham Ulagam's flop and mixed reviews led him to such a delay.
We hope Selva comes with a good engaging movie soon and satisfy his fans, because he is one of the directors who has very good fan following.
Hope he gets recovered from his health issues after which we can expect a very good comeback movie from him.

Kanaa movie Review

Hi Friends,
Nice to be back after a while.
Hope you are doing good.
After long time I watched a movie in India that is Kanaa.
Directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and Produced by Sivakarthikeyan both of them are from my native.
So I was very eager to watch this movie and did watch it in PVR cinemas in Bangalore.
As we all know the movie was about Women's cricket and obviously it followed a template of a passionate girl from village aspiring and becoming a part of World cup winning team of India.
But Arunraja has nicely crafted this story with a good message on Agriculture and current problems faced by farmers.
The plus points of the movie was its artist selection which had veteran actors like Sathyaraj, Ilavarasu who performed extraordinary and the dialogues written for them were so natural.
Aishwarya Rajesh as usual she got fully involved into the movie and gave her best.
Supported by cast like Ramaa who performed very well too.
The main back bone of the movie are the dialogues.
And Sivakarthikeyan played an extended cameo role and he did well.
Music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas was good and he is a promising debut where one of the songs have gone viral.
Not to forget the guy who performed as heroine's one sided lover, Darshan is also a promising actor for Tamil cinema he has a long way to go. 
The minus of the movie was the cricket matches the way it was shot and we could see it was long and boring.
The village side of the movie has come excellent with nice performances and visuals.
Overall it is a well made movie by a debutant director.Cheers!

96 Move Review

96 - a movie by  debutant director Prem, who worked as the cameraman in  the movie Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kanom.

Just wow!!

With the lead cast of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha, he just pulled off a beautiful film.

And not to forget the awesome performances of Aditya Bhaskar and Gouri Kishan who played the school life portion of VJS and Trisha.

The movie starts around Thanjavur and goes off to Chennai, beautifully shot and presented.

The movie is absolutely feel good and it takes you back to your school days.

I doubt if there will be anyone who would hate this movie.

It rewinds your life to your childhood and schooltime days bringing back your memories with your crush.

The background music was soothing and brilliant.

Kadhale Kadhale song was excellent.

The movie happens majorly around school time and in current time when VJS and Trisha meets for a day.

You can relate to your life at any point of the movie.

The get-together plans, one-sided love, the misunderstandings, emotional trauma.

And there is no exaggeration or artificial elements added to the movie which is the pillar of its strength.

And the amazing performances living on the character gives worth to your money spent on the ticket.

It is one of the very few movies not to be missed at any chance.

Do go to the theatre near you and enjoy it.

Its September already

Let out your emotions - Shed tears

I just read an article which emphasises on releasing the emotions and not restricting it to ourselves which will impact our health and peace totally.
We feel sad when we see someone around us cry. That is because sadness is a strong and long lasting emotion.There is nothing wrong in shedding tears and relieving our stress which we were holding.

Once you cry, you really feel relieved and will feel easy to connect with others.

Crying is always seen as a shame or embarrassment due to which people hide their faces when they cry.If you try to bury your feelings of sadness, you do pay the price for the same. Deep sadness results in deep pain and suffering and in turn losing peace of mind.So its always better to come out of sadness and try to be in normal mode and try to live for the moment. Cheers!
