Bengaluru traffic

It is a known fact that India's one of the leading metropolitan cities Bangalore/Bengaluru is known for its heavy traffic. I would just like to add some more frustration I have been facing and seeing others face in the recent while in this blog.
I have been living in the city for close to 7 years now and when I entered first time, I was mesmerized by the chill weather and ever drizzling sky. It feels so cold while going by a bike and you need a jacket so you will always enjoy the ride and don't need an Air Conditioner in car or house. That is the best part of staying in Bangalore. But the cons of staying here is the heavy frustrating traffic in any part of the city with some bottlenecks in every zone.
For e.g. for those who are commuting in the Silk Board, BTM to Electronic City area, Silk board is a nightmare in the peak hours. It gets so jammed and extremely congested for the vehicles and pedestrians to walk over. And for those using the Outer ring road which is a signal free corridor, there are several bottle necks like K.R. Puram junction, Tin factory, Mahadevpura, Marathahalli which are always jam packed and people struggle like anything that too in the recent days scorching heat in the mornings and most of the times tend to miss the office calls and meetings as they will be stuck in the roads.
And for people who travel around Indra Nagar, Koramangla, M.G. road mostly have fast moving traffic, but at times due to shopping complexes and foot paths the actual roads have become very congested and very uncomfortable for everyone.
And the most important factor for this heavy traffic is the heavy increase in the number of private cabs like OLA,Uber, Meru which were once of great help but now its a pain in the head.
In every nook and corner there are lots of cabs which are violating the traffic rules , signals and causing headache to everyone.
And mornings 9am to 12 noon its horrible and same in the evening from 6-9pm which is a nightmare for every rider to reach safe without hurting anyone in vehicles.
And due to frequent rains, lots of roads are heavily damaged resulting to lots of potholes and heard the commisioner is taking care of fixing them while additional of 200+ villages to the boundary of Bengaluru has made them highly occupied it seems.
And the city is not properly planned to accomodate this much heavy millions of crowd and due to the IT job opportunities, people are flooding to the city from every part of India from North to South and East to West.
The common man's request is simple- the government has to fasten up the Metro implementations or flyover implementations in this existing traffic and also develop the outskirts with companies and job opportunities so that people can move to other less populated areas as well.
Thanks for reading my article.
Have a great day!

Kaatru Veliyidai movie review

There is always a hype and craze when a Maniratnam movie releases in town and similarly during the release of this movie, Kaatru Veliyidai where it received a mixture of reviews after his superhit OK Kanmani which released couple of years ago.
This flick has actor Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead supported by Rukmani, RJ Balaji,Delhi Ganesh and many new faces. The movie was mainly shot in the snowy regions around Jammu Kashmir, Leh Ladakh and Pakistan.
Maniratnam has tried to pull off an 'Alai Payuthe' Madhavan and 'Ok Kanmani' Dulquer from Karthi, which didnt come out as expected I feel. Also the characterization and screenplay were not that strong nor interesting like Mani's earlier record breaking films.
And the plot itself resulted as  negative as it resembles many of his earlier movies like Roja, Uyire and the terrorism, fights between muslims & hindus in Bombay movie, etc. The hero's characterization was also a cliche Maniratnam hero which we have seen in many movies.
Infact the movie takes off well showing the struggles and happenings around India's border and how our arm forces strive hard to keep us safe. The airplanes, fighter planes, the runways and the airports do excite us. But more importantly the scenes happening between the hero and heroine fails as we couldn't understand them properly and enjoy the narration. I really liked Karthi's acting in the climax where he hits a sixer on seeing his own daughter which he didn't know was born to him. He keeps fighting with Aditi and his egoistic nature she hates and tries to move away from him and Karthi goes in search of her resembles Alai Payuthe movie where Madhavan goes fin search of Shalini to Kerala and finds her in a medical camp. Also I liked Karthi's performance when he tries to escape from the Pakistan jail. But to see him throughout the movie as VC was a bore.
Aditi Rao Hydari as female lead has definitely done justice as a debutant, she resembles hansika in few instances and is good at emoting but looks little old for the role. Some of her dialogues and scenes resembled the superhit 'Sakthi' character played by Shalini in Alai Payuthe.
And RJ Balaji was also not used properly. He is definitely a better actor.
Rukmani is good in her dance moves though she doesnt have much scenes to prove her acting skills and she was infact not at all needed for this movie.
The plus point of the movie was A.R.Rahman's music and songs and the cinematography.
The movie runs in a non-linear pattern front and back. My favourite portion in the movie was Azhagiye song.
Overall the movie couldn't match the hype. Its an one time watchable entertainer.

Arjun Reddy movie review

Hi guys, happy to share my review on latest blockbuster telugu movie Arjun Reddy.
The movie has been produced on a budget of 5 crores and has collected 35 crores which proves the movie is a blockbuster and other language industries are trying to acquire the remake rights for it.

Generally I don't watch or show much interest to watch telugu films as they will be following a template of fights, songs, her worship, etc and positive ending. But the word of mouth for any successful movie is like a wildfire. People tend to appreciate any good movies releasing in any language these days. And Hence I got to know and watched the trailer of this movie and was thoroughly impressed.

Even though the movie is telugu and made in Andhra Pradesh, it ran very well in Tamilnadu and Karnataka as well for quite good number of days.

What is this movie about?
The movie is about a medical college student who is a topper in the college and university who is zero in anger management, who falls in love with a junior girl in same college and what happens is the rest of the story.
Though the story might look not much exciting, the screenplay, twists and mainly the performances of the lead actors and supporting actors in unbelievably real.
I strongly say there can never be any actor who could have done better than Vijay Devarakonda. Hats off to this young man who is an absolute talent definite to steal your hearts.
Heroine is Shalini Pandey, who hails from Madhya Pradesh is another great talent proves with her acting skills especially in the climax.
Rahul Ramakrishna, who plays the hero's friend character has also done an impressive role and he will sure bag lot of movie offers soon. Great choice for the role.
And hero's family- the father is another excellent choice who grabs the attention in the scene where he interacts and argues with the hero and pushes him out of the house in the wedding scene of hero's brother Gautham, who also has done a neat performance and is looking handsome as well.
Kanchana, the legendary actress who has acted with MGR, etc has done the hero's grandmother role who also adds value to this movie.
The movie is shot in excellent seashore backdrop in Mangalore, Dehradun and Hyderabad.Excellent cinematography, art direction, music by Radhan adds lot of value to the movie.
Hero Vijay has multiple shades in the movie, the young and furious medical student who falls in love at first sight of Shalini Pandey and fights for her, and another scene where he plays football and eventually fights with an opponent team guy. The way he rides his bullet and goes furiously is admirable. A typical scene which happens in every college, where a senior guy who likes a girl will threaten the juniors is nicely captured. He smokes and drinks, drinks and smokes throughout the movie. He even performs operations after drinking alcohol due to which he is being forefeited of his medical licence also. The next shade in the beginning of the movie with long beard and moustache trying to have sex with some lady where his fiancee is waiting outside the house, there also he scores. And the other shade when he finally regrets his mistake and goes in search of heroine, goes for a foreign trip to cool himself and feels sad on his grandmother's death. He excels in each scene and shot and has been a perfect case for his role. The way he is sincere to Shalini Pandey and how he takes care of her proves his love for her.

The hero comes as a guy with alcoholic problem and chain smoker, whom we might have crossed now and then in life with normal guys who tend to smoke while taking lectures or even driving and an addict. Similarly the hero is an addict of these habits and also to sex.
Due to some circumstances in the caste problem on the heroine side, she is forced to marry another guy from the same Tulu caste after a serious love affair with the hero due to which the hero becomes excessive alcohol drinker and gets bad name everywhere. He couldn't forget his ex-love at any circumstance even while working in a leading hospital or having good friends and family and even when a leading actress Jia Sharma proposes him. He is not emotional for anything except the love of Shalini Pandey. He knows she has got married and pregnant, still goes behind her and asks to pardon and to marry him where she reveals a major secret and what happens in the climax.
You can never feel this movie is being shot with a camera, so lively are the scenes and the way it has been picturised. Hats of the director Sandeep Vanga for his vision and clarity in writing the scenes and converted into this film.
This film will be spoken for years and is a big crown for the Telugu industry.
And there is a great future for Vijay Devarakonda.

Aathimka-latest pics

Aathmika, the 'Meesaya Murukku' movie heroine is from Chennai a proper tamil girl. She had interest from her childhood in reading tamil books which made her to have great grip on the language. She wanted to get rid of camera fear it seems and hence tried acting for advertisements which made her to get a chance in Rajiv Menon's short film, through which she got an offer in "Meesaya Murukku" and she is enjoying the success now.
She has been receiving lot of calls for new movies, but she is careful in selecting the films and has signed to be a part of Dhuruvangal 16 movie director Karthik Naren's next flick titled 'Naragasooran' which recently went on floors and shoot is happening at Ooty.
Here are some latest pics of the actress.

Suspicious Partner Korean Serial

If you have already watched Korean movies, you will be knowing that watching it will not make you feel alienated or foreign, as they almost give you a feel like watching Indian movies or serials.
Also when you have subtitle, it makes your life much easier.
I just happened to watch 'Suspicious Partner' korean serial which was popping up as top serial of the week in the month of May 2017. Hence I watched the first episode which I just loved it and watched 3-4 times and also recommended to my friends and family to watch it as it is of comedy and crime genre and no vulgarity and adult content.
I have watched 20 episodes till now and have thoroughly enjoyed the serial.
The lead and supporting actors have done fantastic job and also the back ground music and cinematography is so nice you just get a visual treat to watch.
Hence I am recommending you this serial if you would like to start watching korean serials in your free time.

Meesaya Murukku movie review

Meesaya Murukku is a movie written and directed by Hip Hop Tamizha Adhitya, called as Adhi.
We know him as a music director in the recent years introduced by Sundar.C and he went to fame on Thani Oruvan and Ambala movies.
And he has written this script almost on his personal experiences and his own story from his school life to his victory as a musician.

I really enjoyed the movie and could relate many scenes of my school life and college life which I think will be a nostalgic feel to anyone who watches the movie which is the plus of the movie.
Adhi himself has performed the lead role and heroine role was done by Aathmika who is so beautiful and an excellent performer.
Adhi has given excellent opportunity to youngsters like RJ Vigneshkanth, Shah Ra, Hari and few others from the famous smile settai youtube channel who all have done justice to their roles given.
Actor Vivekh has performed as hero's father who is of excellent pillar to the movie with his usual sattire and comic sense.
Overall the movie is a fantastic entertainer to watch and enjoy.

Thupparivalan movie review

Hi guys, happy to be back with a movie review.
Recently watched Thupparivalan - a very nice attempt by Mysskin and Vishal combo.
They have taken Sherlock Holmes type of attempt which is to be welcomed.
The lead roles are performed by Vishal and Anu Emmanuel and supporting roles by Prasanna,Andrea, John Vijay, Bakhyaraj and Vinay.

Vishal is an ambitious and short tempered detective who is craving for some interesting case and gets one from school going kid that his dog is being shot by gun and he gives the bullet and Vishal tracks the case from there which leads him to find much more and how he traps the villains is the story and brilliant screenplay by Mysskin.

There are no songs in the movie and Mysskin has written interesting screenplay like Prasanna asking Vishal the questions the audience would like to ask. Legendary director Bakkiyaraj has done a small and villain role in a different old man get up which resembles the role of Pandiyaraj in the blockbuster hit movie of Mysskin, Anjathey.

There are certain stereotyphic shots and heroic mannerisms and dialogue delivery every hero in Mysskin movie is performing which repeats in this movie as well.
But hats off to Vishal to do a different movie in his career and produce the movie as well.
Prasanna has done a very neat performance without spoiling the role.
Vinay also has done a subtle performance which elevates the movie.
Andrea doesn't have a big role to play same as John Vijay.
Editing, Background music and Cinematography is very good.
I personally liked the set put up as Vishal's residence filled with books in typical Mysskin style.
And the climax shot in Pichavaram near Chidambaram is a visual treat to watch which presents the look we have seen in movies like Anakonda, etc.
Overall the movie is a fantastic choice to audience who like thrillers and dark movies.
Congrats to Mysskin and team.
